The nose is spicy and powerful. There are notes of blackberry, ripe wild red berries and slightly morello cherry combined with fine touches of Madagascar pepper, chocolate and fine vanilla. The palate is juicy and offers minerality, acidity, good definition, a little tension and a fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of plump/juicy red berries, violets and more slightly crushed blackcurrants combined with hints of vanilla, violets and fine fresh tobacco and a subtle touch of pepper. Good length.
