The nose is peppery, discreetly tight and offers a fine powdery character. There are notes of blackberry, violet and, to a lesser extent, pepper, combined with delicate touches of blueberry, nutmeg and a very discreet hint of sweet spices and an imperceptible touch of cumin. The palate is mineral, tightly wound and offers freshness, roundness, a certain fatness, volume and a little spherical aspect. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, ripe/juicy raspberry and more slightly lily combined with touches of racy/saline minerality, hints of fleshy/crushed blue berries, vanilla as well as a subtle hint of saffron (in its floral side) and pepper.
