The nose is quite aromatic. There are notes of creamy blackberry, pulpy/fresh strawberry and more slightly of flowers combined with hints of nutmeg, toastiness and fine points of fleshy/crushed blackcurrant. The palate is mineral, fruity, very tightly wound and offers juiciness, stretch and a mineral backbone. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/fresh blackberry, fresh raspberry and more slightly red berry notes combined with hints of iris, fresh rose, fine points of racy minerality and a subtle hint of toast and almond. Good length.
