Vinchio Vaglio – Laudana 2019 – Nizza

The nose is pretty and elegant, with a spicy edge, a certain complexity and a certain delicacy in its power. Boysenberry, tonka bean and more slightly crunchy blackcurrant notes are combined with hints of strawberry, fine grey pepper and discreet hints of blond tobacco and an imperceptible almost roasted herbal edge. The palate is fruity and offers a nice acidity, minerality, energy, dynamism, silkiness and volume. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/juicy cherry, crunchy redcurrant and more slightly purple plum combined with touches of blueberry, lily and fine tonka bean. A discreet saline touch in the background. A subtle hint of positive bitterness of cocoa/roast in the background. The tannins are supple and saline. Nice freshness. Congratulations!
