La Gironda – Le Nicchio 2018 – Nizza

The nose is aromatic and offers fruit, sweet spices as well as fine floral aromas. It reveals notes of saffron, tonka bean and small notes of red berries associated with touches of almost roasted herbs and nutmeg. The palate is fruity, finely tight and offers a nice tangy frame, minerality, and energy, as well as some roasted hints. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fresh morello cherry, roasted small red fruits, and small notes of blackberry associated with hints of fresh blond tobacco, cloves as well as hints of almost roasted herbs, chocolate and toast.
