Tenuta Il Falchetto – Bricco Roche 2017, Riserva – Nizza

The nose is fresh, racy and offers a certain delicacy as well as a nice finesse and intensity of the grain. It reveals notes of morello cherry, boysenberry and small notes of crushed wild strawberry associated with touches of violet, mocha as well as slight hints of clove/toast and vanilla. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, well-mastered power, a tangy frame, good definition, a certain gourmandise as well as juiciness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, juicy/bright cherry and small notes of tangy blueberry associated with fine touches of violet/lily as well as hints of mocha, racy minerality, sense of the place (local biotop) and a very discreet hint of toasted hazelnut. The tannins are racy and elegant.
