The nose is fresh, mineral, racy and offers tension as well as some spiciness. There are hints of crushed raspberry, fresh redcurrant and small notes of fresh violet associated with slight hints of cardamom and a subtle hint of pepper. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, minerality, good definition and a juicy/tangy structure. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/crunchy cherry, juicy/crunchy redcurrant and slight notes of fresh/tangy purple plum associated with touches of cardamom, chocolate and a subtle hint of toast. The tannins are supple and finely mellow. Nice chewiness on the finish/persistence. Nice freshness and a nice silky texture.
