The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is aromatic (medium (+) intensity) and varied. We first find spicy notes, chocolate, and bitter cocoa, with very subtle hints of minerality (wet stone) and undergrowth. Then, the notes of caramel, vanilla, coffee, and roasting appear, with rich and ripe notes of morello cherry, wild blackberry, black fig, blackcurrant, and wild strawberry. On the palate, the wine expresses notes of blackcurrant, morello cherry, blackberry, and red plum, with fresh hints of bay leaf, thyme, and liquorice. The finish is quite persistent (medium (+) length) and juicy, with notes of fresh red and black fruits (red cherry, morello cherry, blackberry, raspberry). The tannic structure is firm, the tannins are tight and persistent on the finish. High and lively acidity, the body is both structured and refined. Tension, juiciness, power, and freshness.
