The wine is opaque, with a deep ruby color. The nose is bright and expresses a beautiful bouquet of ripe, fleshy fruits. It reveals notes of fresh black fruits (blackberry, morello cherry, black plum, blackcurrant, fresh black fig), with a delicate hint of prunes in chocolate and dried aromatic herbs. The mouth is enveloping, fruity. The wine expresses notes of sour cherry, fresh black plum, fresh blackcurrant, with a herbaceous hint of blackcurrant leaf and rosemary. There are also subtle floral notes of violet and rose. Acidity is crisp, medium(+) level. Tannins have a fine grain and tension, they are a little tight on the finish. The finish is rather persistent (medium (+) length), with a tangy frame of fresh black fruits and a hint of juniper berry. A wine with concentration and a nice freshness.
