The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity with purple reflections. The nose is aromatic, expressive, and very fruity. It expresses notes of juicy red and black fruits (morello cherry, wild blackberry, black plum, blackcurrant), as well as slight notes of blue plum. There are also sweet notes of red jammy fruits, crème de cassis and fresh touches of blackcurrant bud and menthol with a very discreet hint of rosemary. On the palate the wine is juicy and fruity, fresh, medium-bodied, with a rather persistent and tangy finish (medium (+) length). The acidity is quite present (medium (+) level) and corresponds to the bouquet of the wine’s flavors, on acidulous fresh red and black fruits (red cherries, cranberries, blackcurrants, blueberries). A hint of bitterness on the finish, the tannins are delicate, only slightly perceptible. Nice freshness, energy and good acid structure.
