Château Cantegril 2012 – Sauternes

The nose is a bit tight and offers spiciness, a certain power as well as fine intensity. There are notes of lychee, spices, and small notes of roasted berries associated with hints of peach and a hint of nutmeg. The mouth is well-built, fresh and envelopping and offers delicacy, fullness, gourmandize, a certain tension as well as a fine tangy frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of candied apricot, peach in syrup and small notes of lychee associated with touches of roasted pineapple, crystallized lemon as well as hints of spices and dried almond. Good length.
