The nose is fresh, precise and offers a certain tension, spices, a discreet hint of tonka bean as well as a fine and precise grain. It reveals notes of cherry, cherry blossoms, and more slightly – notes of violet associated with touches of blackberry, cuben pepper as well as discreet hints of nutmeg, sweet spices and an imperceptible hint of berries of laurel. The palate is mineral, nicely juicy, on the fruit, precise and offers a certain complexity, harmony as well as minerality. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh cherry, juicy/fresh raspberry, and more slightly – notes of fresh violet associated with touches of nutmeg, small red berries as well as discreet hints of fresh cornflower and fresh liquorice. The tannins are supple and chewy. Good length. Nice freshness/minerality. A very discreet hint of mocha on the finish.
