The nose is spicy, racy and offers a certain complexity. The wine deserves to be decanted. It reveals notes of blackberry, blueberry and wild strawberry associated with touches of cloves, pepper, slight hints of spices as well as a discreet almost smoky hint and cocoa. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, minerality, a tangy frame, energy and good definition. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright plum and more slightly – hints of cornflower associated with touches of bright redcurrant as well as slight hints of blueberry, clove, blond tobacco and a discreet hint of spices. The tannins are supple. Good length.
