Nice racy nose, mineral, precise, frank, which offers a nice finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of fresh cherry, fresh/crunchy berries, and slight notes of fresh iris associated with touches of racy minerality, a discreet hint of nutmeg, and an imperceptible almost vanilla hint that coats/underlines the fruit. The palate is fruity and offers a tangy frame, minerality, juiciness, and a nice finesse in its roundness as well as silkiness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cherry, small fresh/crunchy red fruits, and more slightly notes of iris/varietal (and not vegetal) associated with touches of juicy/fresh blackcurrant, with fine hints of nutmeg, sense of the place as well as a discreet hint of fresh tobacco and liquorice. The tannins are supple and suave.
