Château Saint-Saturnin 2019 – Médoc

The nose is fruity and offers pulpiness as well as a certain freshness. There are notes of pulpy strawberry, creamy blackcurrant and, more slightly, crushed black berries, combined with touches of black pepper, graphite and fine points of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, fresh and offers minerality, good definition, a certain juiciness, a fine straightness, gourmandise and fatness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, crisp strawberry and, more slightly, crushed redcurrant, combined with hints of vanilla essence and a fine touch of toasted hazelnut. The tannins are finely mellow. A very discreet hint of clove in the background.
