The nose is fruity and offers some concentration and creaminess. There are notes of creamy blackcurrant, creamy boysenberry and more slightly fleshy/ripe wild strawberry combined with hints of toastiness, caramelisation and a hint of sweet blond tobacco. The palate is mineral, fresh, balanced and offers a fresh frame as well as acidity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creme de cassis, crushed boysenberry and more slightly creamy wild berries combined with hints of fresh raspberry, dark chocolate, toast, sweet blond tobacco and a hint of clove. The tannins are precise, smooth and offer a fine suavity.
