Château Rollan de By 2019 – Médoc

The nose is peppery and offers minerality as well as spiciness. There are notes of pulpy wild strawberry, violet and more slightly blackberry combined with fine touches of camphor, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of toasted almond and salinity/ minerality. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, volume, juiciness of fruit and minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, juicy/pulpy raspberry and more slightly violet combined with a touch of rose, juicy/fresh red berry fruit as well as hints of lilac, racy minerality, sweet blond tobacco and chocolate. The tannins are precise, fine and mellow. Good length.
