Château La Cardonne 2019 – Médoc

The nose is fresh, fruity and relatively aromatic. There are notes of crushed blackberry, liquorice and, to a lesser extent, warm spices combined with subtle touches of crushed red fruit. The palate is fresh, mineral and offers fruit, tension, roundness and a certain gourmandise. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of raspberry, fresh/crushed red berries and more slightly of chocolate, combined with delicate touches of fresh violet, fresh lily, as well as fine notes of toastiness and a touch of toasted hazelnut. Very fine chewiness and a certain gourmandise on the finish.
