The nose offers power, a fine concentration as well as a certain depth in finesse. There are notes of wild blackcurrant, blackberry and more slightly of fresh blond tobacco combined with a touch of violet, ripe red berries, as well as fine hints of lilac, racy minerality and a discreet hint of fresh nutmeg. The palate is mineral, racy and offers freshness, fruit, good definition and fine concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of boysenberry, juicy/fresh black berries and more slightly redcurrant combined with touches of racy minerality, rose, fresh violet and a subtle hint of spice, chocolate and a very discreet hint of mulberry in the background. Good length. An imperceptible hint of coffee in the background. Nice acidity of the fruit. The tannins are discreetly firm.
