The wine shows a pale lemon straw colour. The nose is dense and intense, revealing nuances of dried Mediterranean herbs, garrigue, a hint of saffron and camomile, a touch of apricot and melon in the echo. The palate is round, with moderate acidity but a nice grip, tension and a certain minerality. The wine has a typical Rhône herbal character, opening up with notes of wormwood, sage, a touch of green tea and sage. A well-balanced Southern wine that requires a food pairing.
