Jérome Arnoux – Savagnin Ouillé 2020, Entre-Deux – Arbois

The nose is fruity and tends to shut down. There are notes of yellow apple, yellow fruits and, to a lesser extent, wild berries, combined with fine touches of smoke, a discreet hint of clove and an imperceptible hint of cumin. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a certain gourmandise, tension, precision as well as a certain straightness in its richness and structure. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of kumquat, flat peach and more slightly wild yellow fruit, combined with a hint of serenity, smoke and a very discreet hint of spice. Good length. A subtle varietal hint on the finish/persistence. A very discreet hint of sourness in the aftertaste.
