The nose offers gourmandise, a very fine power as well as generosity. We find notes of chocolate, pulpy raspberry and more slightly vanilla combined with touches of pulpy blackcurrant, hints of caramelisation as well as a discreet hint of saffron (in its flowery side) and hazelnut). The palate is fruity and offers minerality, freshness, tension, a good guideline, a fine creaminess as well as a mineral framework. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of cherry liqueur, crushed blackcurrant and, to a lesser extent, pulpy raspberry, combined with hints of liquorice, chocolate, cardamom and a fine touch of toasted hazelnut. The tannins are finely mellow.
