Work in Progress by Château Saincrit 2019 – Bordeaux Supérieur

The nose is fruity, fresh, racy and offers power as well as a fine restraint. There are notes of wild black berries, wild strawberries and a hint of violets combined with a touch of balsamic and a fine touch of graphite and black pepper. The palate is fruity, relatively tight at present and offers minerality, freshness, fine richness and concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackcurrant, pulpy raspberry and more slightly violet combined with hints of balsamic, crushed violet plum as well as fine cinnamon, sweet spice and a touch of dark chocolate. The tannins are mellow.
