The nose is fruity and offers some concentration as well as power. There are notes of creamy blackcurrant, crushed blackberry and more slightly strawberry, combined with hints of vanilla bean and a touch of chocolate. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers freshness, minerality, fine tension and a mineral/fresh frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, creamy blackcurrant and more slightly fleshy raspberry combined with hints of fresh almond and a subtle hint of toasted hazelnut and tonka bean (in the background). The tannins are well managed. Good length. A fine chewiness in the background.
