Château Féret-Lambert 2019 – Bordeaux Supérieur

Château Féret-Lambert 2019 – Bordeaux Supérieur

The nose is fruity and offers some concentration as well as a fine, tight grain. The wine benefits from being decanted. There are notes of black cherry, violet and slightly ripe blackcurrant combined with hints of crushed red berries, as well as fine zan, spice and a very discreet hint of varietal/sense of place (in the background). The palate is fruity and offers a certain suavity, fatness and minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy black cherry, violet and more slightly crunchy blueberry combined with touches of rose, crushed berries as well as fine notes of racy minerality, liquorice, fresh blond tobacco and a subtle hint of cardamom. The tannins are well-managed, racy and offer a fine straightness. The finish is tight and fresh.
