The nose is tightly wound, intense and powerful. There are notes of wild currants, rose and more slightly grey pepper combined with fine touches of red fruit, fresh blackberry and a hint of clove/spice. The palate offers minerality, juiciness and some fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of boysenberry, pulpy wild raspberry and more slightly pulpy wild strawberry combined with hints of grey pepper, lily and fine clove. The finish is tightly wound. Fine chewiness on the finish. The tannins are finely mellow. Good length.
