Prieur de Meyney 2019 – Saint-Estèphe

The nose reveals notes of spices and more slightly pulpy blackberry combined with fine varietal touches, fleshy strawberry as well as fine hints of liquorice, toast and caramelisation. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, minerality, tension, a hint of iodine and good work on the bitter taste. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, fresh/crisp raspberry and more slightly of red berries combined with touches of fresh flowers, hints of tonka bean and a subtle touch of toastiness, fresh almond and nutmeg.
