The nose is elegant and offers a fine complexity. The wine benefits from being decanted. There are notes of crushed blackberry, fleshy strawberry and more slightly crushed berries combined with a subtle hint of chocolate, vanilla and an imperceptible hint of almost plum blossom. The palate is mineral, balanced, elegant and offers a nice sapidity/suavity, precision, energy and freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, fleshy/juicy raspberry and more slightly saline notes combined with hints of vanilla and a subtle hint of good bitterness. Nice persistence on positive bitterness and salinity.
