The nose reveals notes of blackberry, racy minerality and more slightly violet combined with hints of wild strawberry as well as fine hints of liquorice, vanilla and a subtle hint of nutmeg/sweet spice. The palate is fresh, mineral, balanced and offers good definition, juiciness, a fresh frame and a certain gourmandise. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/pulpy blackberry, pulpy/fresh raspberry and more slightly crunchy redcurrant combined with hints of liquorice, vanilla and hints of lily and sweet spices. The tannins are soft and gourmet.
