Château du Moulin Rouge 2019 – Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois Supérieur

The nose is fruity and offers some minerality. There are notes of ripe wild strawberry and, more slightly, blackcurrant, combined with hints of spice, liquorice and a subtle hint of sweet tobacco and crushed almond. The palate is fruity, fresh, balanced and offers a fresh structure, juiciness (fruit) and tension. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, crushed cherry and more slightly blackcurrant combined with hints of chocolate, toasted/roasted almond and a subtle hint of sweet blond tobacco and spice. The tannins are very finely pronounced.
