The nose has a spicy edge. There are notes of fresh leather, Sichuan pepper and, to a lesser extent, ripe berries, combined with hints of liquorice and spices. The palate offers minerality, acidity and a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, juicy/pulpy red berries and more slightly violet combined with touches of fresh leather and a hint of clove.
