Château Bel Air Gloria 2019 – Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois Supérieur

The nose offers a fine richness, concentration, power as well as a fine stretch. There are notes of crushed raspberry, fresh/crunchy red berries and more slightly of violet combined with delicate hints of Morello cherry, fine hints of liquorice, discreet hints of Cuban pepper and a subtle hint of racy minerality, lily and cardamom. The palate is fresh, mineral, balanced and offers good definition, juiciness, freshness, a fine crispness, a certain straightness, fine tension, elegance and a nice acidic frame. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, crisp raspberry and slightly juicy/fresh cherry notes combined with hints of vanilla, violet as well as fine notes of racy minerality, a subtle hint of iodine and discreet hints of sweet spices.
