The nose is fresh, racy and offers some complexity, power and fine grain. There are notes of boysenberry, fresh flowers and more slightly racy minerality, fresh pepper combined with hints of pulpy blackcurrant, fresh wild strawberry and fine vanilla and spice. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, good definition, a certain gourmandise, fatness and a fine creaminess. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, creamy strawberry and, more slightly, crunchy red berries, combined with touches of iris, fresh lily, as well as fine points of racy minerality, graphite, a hint of fresh pepper and a discrete, almost saline touch (in the background). Good persistence and work on the bitter taste. A fine hint of coffee/mocha in the background.
