The nose is elegant, fresh and offers some power and richness. There are notes of creamy blackberry, blueberry and more slightly liquorice combined with hints of crushed wild strawberry and fine blue berry fruit as well as hints of Cuben pepper and spice. The palate is fresh, mineral, elegant and offers a nice definition, acidity, tension, precision, dynamism, salinity and a nice energy and finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creamy boysenberry, creamy wild strawberry and more slightly blueberry combined with hints of tonka bean, liquorice, saline minerality, fine hints of chocolate and a subtle touch of vanilla and sweet spice. The tannins are elegant and mellow.
