The nose is fresh, aromatic and offers tension. There are notes of nutmeg, yellow berries and, to a lesser extent, mirabelle plum, combined with hints of white berries, spices, toasted oak and a discreet hint of musk. The palate is fresh, fruity and offers roundness as well as some restraint. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed mirabelle plum, kumquat and more slightly crushed peach combined with a touch of crushed yellow apple as well as fine hints of chestnut butter and a subtle hint of spice. Nice sapid and gourmet persistence. A nice gastronomic wine.
