The nose is racy and tight. The wine benefits from being decanted. There are notes of wild raspberry, red berries and more slightly violet, combined with fine touches of pepper and a discreet hint of incense and dry gravel. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, sweetness, acidity and juiciness/pulpiness of the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, bright cherry and more slightly violet combined with hints of saline minerality, bright/chunky blackcurrant as well as hints of lily and vanilla/vanillin. Fine, smooth tannins.
