The wine shows a deep purple colour. Notes of blueberries, blackberries and black cherries are underlaid by nuances of vanilla, cinnamon, a touch of cacao and milk chocolate. The palate is dense, revealing a lot of concentration and power, grippy, powerful, sticky tannins, a certain elegance and freshness despite the warming alcohol. Compared to the nose, the palate seems slightly muted, needs more time to open up. With aeration notes of blackberries, black pepper, a touch of coffee are coming through. The finish is tight and drying. To lay down.
