The wine presents a limpid and shiny color of a pretty cherry red. The first nose has notes of cocoa but also of coffee bean. There are also some black fruits such as blackberry and crushed cherry. With air, we have an animal side which develops on leather and musk. The alcohol is a little present, peppery. The tasting is fresh with present powerful tannins in the middle of the mouth. There is roundness with a light sensation of sweetness. We find the very ripe, juicy black fruits with blackberry and cherry. We also perceive a little vanilla bean. The finish has a hint of salinity with fruits like plums.
