Domaine des Peyre La Gazette n°008 AOP Ventoux 2020

The wine has a beautiful cherry color with some light purple reflections. It is moderately intense. Shiny and clear. The first nose is on red fruits like juicy cherries. Discreet, we perceive minerality and a musky animal side. After aeration, the alcohol is a little felt. In the background, we have very ripe black fruits such as blackberry and blackcurrant. There are also smoky and earthy aromas. We have a slight rose note that emerges. The attack is fresh, round with a sensation of sweetness. The whole is juicy with well-ripened black fruits such as blackberries and cherries. We also have a little vanilla, the tannins are smooth, slightly catchy in the middle of the mouth before giving way to an astringency which will continue on the finish. We have cocoa and some vanilla notes. It is a wine that has volume and depth. The finish is on black fruits and a hint of violet.
