The color of this wine is moderately pale and draws on a beautiful cherry red with a more pink ring. It is clear and shiny. The first nose is discreet with notes of black fruits such as fresh blackberry as well as toast. After aeration, we have a more vegetal nose with aromatic herbs such as thyme and sage. Little by little, an animal side emerges with leather and musk. The attack is fresh and tangy with black fruits such as blackberry and blackcurrant. The wine is young, with marked acidity on the mid-palate. Aromatic herbs appear and leave a bitter trail. The tannins are smooth, almost non-existent with a hint of vanilla. The finish is on tangy red berries like gooseberry and tomato coulis.
