The wine has a limpid and shiny appearance which draws on the cherry color. The first nose is aromatic and delicate with notes of stewed black fruits such as cherry and blackcurrant. We also perceive sweet spices and a light woodiness. A beautiful freshness of eucalyptus emerges. With air, small notes of citrus appear as well as leather. The attack is fresh, round with pepper and notes of black tea. The tannins are gripping until the finish. The roundness and concentration fade in the middle of the mouth, leaving a frank and drying frame on black fruit and vanilla. We find a little leather and a hint of salt which concludes the tasting with plum and blackberry. The finish is persistent.
