The colour is pale apricot. The wine is clear and shiny. The first nose is discreet with smoky and floral notes like bougainvillea. We also perceive, in the background, scents of apricot and discreet blood orange. The second nose is more aromatic with stone fruits: apricot and yellow peach. It’s fresh with a note of olive branch as well as flowers like wild rose. Gradually crushed red fruits are felt like wild strawberries. The attack is fresh and aromatic on the peach but also on the pomelo and the almond. It’s a nice combo. A slight bitterness emerges in the mid-palate. There are also some notes of thyme and raspberry. The whole is delicate. The final does not drag on.
