The wine is limpid and shiny. It has a pretty dapper apricot colour. The first nose is vinous on vanilla. With aeration, we find gourmet notes of fruit such as peach jam and candied orange. White grapes appear slowly as well as a few light flowers, white currants and a light smokiness. The attack is fresh and fluid. The acidity is present, measured. We perceive kumquat as well as lemon blossom. The mid-palate lets its tangy side express itself, accentuated by a persistent salinity until the finish. On the finish there is a bit of quince jelly as well as notes of calisson and flowers.
