The nose is fruity and reveals a fine power and concentration. There are notes of pulpy strawberry, fleshy cherry and, more slightly, crushed blackberry, combined with hints of violet, pepper, chocolate and a discreet hint of black tea, star anise and a subtle, almost saline touch (in the background). The flavours are fruity and focused, revealing juiciness, tension, precision and a little minerality. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fresh blackberry, fresh blackcurrant and, more lightly, crunchy plum, combined with hints of violet, lily, rose, as well as hints of chocolate, cardamom and discreet vanilla (in the background). Good length. A subtle hint of liquorice in the aftertaste. The tannins are fine and sapid.
