Deurić – Beli Aksiom 2019

The nose is spicy and reveals some power (but with an airiness) and precision. There are notes of zest, fresh spices and, more slightly, fresh almond, sap/acacia combined with delicate touches of pink lychee, pepper and fine notes of crisp white fruit. The palate is mineral and reveals smoothness, a certain verticality and some crystalline quality. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fresh pink lychee, rose petal, white flowers and, to a lesser extent, juicy peach, combined with subtle hints of crisp apple, racy minerality and a very discreet note of almond, almost toasted (which underlines the fruit). A subtle hint of vanilla cream (in the background) is present on the finish.
