An intense straw colour. The nose is concentrated and lush with notes of apricots, overripe apples, apple strudel, a touch of vanilla, cloves, cinnamon, some anise, liquorice and herbal nuances. The palate is powerful and opulent with a lot of fruit concentration and crisp, almost piercing acidity. It reveals notes of quince, yellow apples, mesocarp, a touch of fresh almond and a light salinity on the background. The wine is complex and rich and develops nicely in the glass. The finish is juicy, slightly bitter and pleasantly salty.
