The nose is pungent, a bit spicy and yeasty, revealing notes of ripe yellow and green apples, quince, Duchesse pears, lemons, quince, a touch of dried grass and a note of wet chalk. The palate is concentrated with a racy acidity and good fruit concentration. The wine shows some minerality and complexity on the palate, demonstrating nuances of citrus and orchard fruits, fresh and dried herbs, a nice salinity. The finish is refreshing and zesty.
