The wine shows a bright ruby-purple colour. The nose reveals notes of fresh and crushed cherries, raspberry compote, strawberry marmalade, a touch of sweet baking spices, vanilla and cloves. The palate is fresh with nice roundness, silkiness and a refreshing, balanced acidity. The tannins are smooth and velvety. There are notes of fresh and confit cherries, cranberry juice, a touch of cowberry, cloves and cinnamon. The oak is well integrated and adds a touch of complexity to the juiciness of Zweigelt. Refreshing, crispy finish.
