The wine demonstrates an attractive lemon-straw colour with a silver tinge. The nose is slightly smoky and reductive and a distinct herbaceous note of asparagus. After aeration the wine opens up with nuances of yellow pear, juicy lemon, pomelo, grapefruit, a touch of dried herbs and withered grass. The palate is packed with zesty, citrusy acidity. It reveals notes of sweet and sour lemon, ripe lime, a touch of grapefruit pith, nuances of quince, oregano and hay. There is a nice complexity and depth. The finish echoes the palate with a light citrusy and herbal bitterness adding to the overall freshness.
