The nose is dense and expressive, revealing notes of grapefruits, kumquats, ripe pineapples and mangos, orange marmalade and ginger. The palate is tropical, exuberant, with nuances of citrus zest, tropical fruits, vibrant acidity and pleasant salinity and bitterness. The wine shows a lot of ripeness balanced by refreshing acidity and a touch of grapefruit bitterness. The finish is long and intriguing.
